Cutting Fluid ACECUT 5503 - 30 liter
The cutting process is the elementary processing step in glass processing – this applies to the manufacture of float glass sheets as well as to downstream processing. With exact cutting and perfectly cut edges, adverse effects on subsequent production processes can be avoided, thereby achieving noticeable savings in processing costs. For this reason, the choice of suitable cutting fluids is of great importance.

Acecut 5503 is a completely evaporating cutting fluid for glass cutting. It is recommended when:
Cutting Coated glass
Cutting Automotive glass (X-Y)
Cutting Float glass online
Cutting Mirror glass
It's Water-soluble
Small glass particles are bound
Low surface tension
For mirrors, patterned and float glass as well as painted or printed glass

Can be used for float glass production up to 3/8" (10 mm) thick
Density: 0.769 - 0.783 g/ml DIN 51757 (20 °C)
Refractive index: 1.428 - 1.437 DIN 51432 (20 °C)
pH (conc.):5 - 7 pH-Indicator strips
Viscosity: 1.2-2.5 mm2/s DIN 51562/1 (20 °C)

Use suitable protective gloves when handling the product. Safety instructions for the handling can be found in the Material Safety Data Sheet. Stored in well-closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf life of Acecut 5503 is 1 year.
