  • Cleaning of disassembled machine parts (e.g. tool housing, suction pads, water jets) Machine parts to be cleaned are preferably immersed overnight in a 5% application solution (e.g. in a plastic tank). Depending on the degree of contamination either increase the cleaning time or the use concentration. Any remaining impurities are best washed off with a brush and/or a powerful water jet. The working piece should then be thoroughly rinsed with tap water. Note: The surface of cleaned steel parts can be susceptible to flash rust. To avoid this, the working piece should be immersed in a coolant solution or sprayed with a coolant solution. This will passivate the surface. Aceclean 6670 softens or dissolves rust. For heavily corroded steel parts, it should therefore be checked whether cleaning does not adversely affect their operation.

  • For cleaning tanks or pipelines, a 5 to 10% application solution is poured into the tank to be cleaned and subsequently pumped through the pipelines to be cleaned. The solution is preferably allowed to stand overnight. After draining the cleaning solution, the tank is thoroughly rinsed with tap water. To avoid corrosion, the tank should subsequently again be filled with a coolant solution to be pumped through the piping system.

  • Aceclean 6670 can also be used for the surface cleaning of machines. For this purpose, the contaminated surface is sprayed with a 10% application solution (or higher concentration). After a certain exposure time the contamination is removed with a brush or a powerful water jet. For painted parts, it should first be checked that the paint is not affected.

  • As with all acid cleaning agents, care should be taken to ensure that the application solution cannot penetrate electric/electronic parts.

  • Use appropriate protective gloves and goggles when handling the product. Safety instructions for the handling can be found in the Material Safety Data Sheet. Stored in well-closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf life of Aceclean 6670 is 1 year.
