Acedet 6696 is a low-foam, alkaline product for the use on automatic glass washing machines. It is typically used for washing glasses with strong contamination (e.g. after grinding and polishing). Acedet 6696 should not be used for washing coated glasses. The product is high pressure suitable and can also be used for cleaning of contaminated machinery (e.g. glass washing machines).

When applying Acedet 6696 for the first time, please note that first of all the detergent cleans the washing machine. Therefore, the washing machine has to be rinsed with Acedet 6696 until it is completely clean. To our experience, this will take approx. half an hour. After disposing of the soiled detergent solution, the washing machine is rinsed thoroughly and then refilled with water. Depending on the degree of pollution and/or mechanics of the washing machine up to 4 g Acedet 6696/l are added then.

Use suitable protective gloves and googles when handling the product. Safety instructions for the handling can be found in the Material Safety Data Sheet. Stored in well-closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf life of Acedet 6696 is 1 year.
